01 / Example stock list
Read the lot,
one size at a time.
A footwear stock list, sometimes called an offer sheet, sets out styles and their size breakdowns. Use this fictional example to see how the codes and pair counts fit together.
Every number is a count of pairs. On a small screen, scroll the table sideways to see all sizes and totals.
| Fictional style / SKU | EU 40 | EU 41 | EU 42 | EU 43 | Total pairs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sample court shoeEXAMPLE-A | 12 | 24 | 24 | 12 | 72 |
| Sample runnerEXAMPLE-B | 0 | 8 | 16 | 0 | 24 |
| Sample trainerEXAMPLE-C | 0 | 0 | 30 | 0 | 30 |
| Illustrative totals | 12 | 32 | 70 | 12 | 126 |
No price or MOQ is supplied. The 126-pair total is an arithmetic example, not an order minimum or a lot available to buy. The rows do not imply that different styles can be combined in a real order.
- Example A
All four illustrated sizes
12 + 24 + 24 + 12 = 72 pairs. This shows a balanced mix across the four sizes in the example. It does not establish a full size run for any real product.
- Example B
An assorted size mix
8 + 16 = 24 pairs, with zero pairs in EU 40 and EU 43 in this illustration. A total of 24 pairs does not mean every size is represented.
- Example C
A single-size row
All 30 illustrative pairs are EU 42. Check whether that size mix suits your buying requirements before considering the total quantity.
02 / Read the columns
Match the code.
Check the size system.
- Brand, model and SKU
- Match the brand, model, colourway and exact style code to the item you want. A similar product name is not enough. Our footwear style and SKU examples can help you build a shortlist; current availability still needs confirmation.
- Size system
- Ask whether sizes are EU, UK, US Men's, US Women's or another labelled system. Do not treat the same number in different systems as the same size. If conversion is needed, check the relevant brand and model's sizing information.
- Quantity per size
- Confirm the unit: pairs, cartons or another pack unit. In this example, every number means pairs. On a real sheet, a blank cell needs clarification; do not assume it means zero or that the size can be supplied.
- Total quantity
- Add the size columns and compare the result with the stated row total. Then add the rows. Check that filters, hidden rows or subtotals have not changed what is included.
- Sheet date and version
- A stock list is a snapshot. Identify the version you are discussing and ask for current availability before confirming an order. An earlier offer sheet does not reserve stock.
03 / Quantities and MOQ
A pair count
is not an order minimum.
The quantity shown, the quantity you want and the quantity you must buy can be different. Confirm each one against the specific offer.
- 01 / Size mix
Define the range you need.
A full size run needs a stated range. Ask which sizes are included and how many pairs come in each. An assorted lot may contain gaps or uneven quantities.
See how size mix changes the choice in our comparison of two 3,000-pair lots. This is a fictional illustration, not live stock or a quotation.
- 02 / Lot rules
Confirm what can be split.
Ask whether you must take the whole lot, a fixed pack or a minimum quantity per SKU. Do not assume you can pick only the sizes you prefer.
- 03 / Order terms
Get the MOQ in writing.
CAPRA confirms MOQ, pricing and payment terms per enquiry. A sample quantity, a previous quote or the sum of several rows does not set the terms for a new order.
04 / Before confirming
Check more
than the total.
Use the sheet to ask specific questions. Confirm the details you need in writing before agreeing to the lot.
- Current availability
- Reconfirm the SKU, colourway, size system, quantity per size and total pairs against the latest offer.
- Price and lot basis
- Confirm the currency, price unit, MOQ, any whole-lot or pack requirement, payment terms and quote validity. This guide supplies no prices or commercial offer.
- Condition and packaging
- Ask what is stated about condition, season, packaging and any exceptions. These details cannot be established from a style code or pair count alone.
- Documents
- State any paperwork your purchase depends on before agreeing to the lot. Read footwear sourcing and available documents for what CAPRA can provide and its limitations.
- Collection
- CAPRA works on an EXW Hong Kong basis, with collection by your forwarder. Use the pre-collection checklist to confirm readiness, collection details and the information your forwarder needs.
05 / Your buying list
Turn the sheet
into a clear enquiry.
Send your actual brands or SKU codes, preferred size system and range, approximate pairs per style, company and destination market. If you can accept alternative sizes or models, say so.
EXAMPLE-A, EXAMPLE-B and EXAMPLE-C are fictional teaching codes. They are not CAPRA stock references and cannot be ordered. Ask us to check current availability for the real items you need.
